GOD IS OUR PILOT WHEN THINGS GO WRONG

Lloyd John Ogilvie, the author of Silent Strength of My Life, tells the story of a young boy he met while travelling. He noticed the boy waiting alone in the airport lounge for his flight to be called. Boarding began for the flight, and the young boy was sent ahead of the adult passengers to find his seat. When Ogilvie got on the aircraft, he discovered the boy had been assigned the seat next to his.The boy was polite when Ogilvie engaged him in conversation and then quietly spent time colouring in an airline colouring book. He showed neither anxiety nor worry about the flight as preparation was made for take-off.During the flight , the plane flew into a very bad storm, which caused the jetliner to bounce around like a ‘kite in the wind.’ The air turbulence and subsequent pitching and lurching of the aircraft frightened some of the passengers, but the young boy seemed to take it all in his stride.A female passenger seated across the aisle from the boy became alarmed by the wild rolling of the aircraft. She asked the boy, “Little boy, aren’t you scared?”“No, ma’am,” he replied, looking up just briefly from his colouring book, “My dad’s the pilot.”

There are times when events in our lives make us feel like we are in the middle of a turbulent storm. In the midst of such storm, let us remember that God, our loving Father is our pilot.

Tomorrow can be too late

TOMORROW CAN BE TOO LATE!

If you’re mad with someone and nobody’s there to fix the situation, you fix it. Maybe today, that person still wants to be your friend. And if you don’t, tomorrow can be too late.
If you’re in love with somebody, but that person doesn’t know, tell her/him. Maybe today, that person is also in love with you. And if you don’t say it, tomorrow can be too late.
If you need a hug of a friend, ask her/him for it. Maybe he/she needs it more than you do. And if you don’t ask for it today, tomorrow can be too late.
If you really have friends whom you appreciate, tell them. Maybe they appreciate you as well. That if you don’t and they leave or go far away today, tomorrow can be too late.
If you love your parents, and never had the chance to show them, do it. Maybe you have them there to show them how you feel. That if you don’t and they leave today, and then tomorrow can be too late.

Let us start to see Vision

When someone asked the great Italian painter Raphael how he painted such wonderful pictures, he answered, “I simply dream dreams and see visions, and then I paint around those dreams and visions.”
Our former President Dr Abdul Kalam express importance of dreams and Vision frequently everywhere. Recenlty, I saw tamil move "pasanga". I think many tamil viewers saw that movie in which how Kalam's words motivated school boys and they said the story baseline in well manner.
Really how many of us realize worth of our vision. I talked with many friends about the vision and dream..Most of my friends are working in IT. Everyone has common vision to win in career like working abroad, earning more money, having confortable life with family members etc...It is good to have such visions..But in practical, we may not get everything in life journey and we may cross up and down.
Does our vision and dreams restrict to individual needs?. Why not have dream and vision about our society, our country, our world? You may ask what you have done except sending good morning mails. Yes. I am also going with my routine tasks. I too typical citizen in the country like you(Unnai Pol oruvan) .I used to have discussions with my friends. My friend Kamal used to talk more about political events and I will ask what the solutions are the problem. He says we can talk; but we can't move futher as most of the issues depend on money in this country.. I got amire about his thoughts many times. I dont know how many young people are having potential thought in this country. But How many of youths come forward in the county? Yes, single person can think and initiate..
Let us increase height of our visions , to society, to county and to this world...We will have ability to change this county; We can provide solutions to many problems facing this country. Yes..We will win and write our names in this world history..
"Pudiadore Ulagam Seivom. Ketta poridum Ulagathai verodu saipom"
(English Translation: Build new world by destructing bad things in the world) words from tamil poel Bharathidashan.
